Today, we begin with a simple practice to ground us. Here’s a guided breathing activity to set the tone:

Mindful Breathing:

  1. Inhale for 4 counts: Breathe in slowly and deeply through your nose while mentally counting to four (one, two, three, four). Focus on filling your lungs with air.
  2. Hold for 4 counts: Pause and hold your breath for another count of four, allowing the oxygen to spread throughout your body.
  3. Exhale for 4 counts: Release the air slowly through your mouth, counting to four, ensuring you’ve exhaled fully.
  4. Repeat: Continue this cycle for around five minutes. You can do this anytime—while sitting quietly, during a short break, or even while waiting for your tea to steep.

Mindful breathing fosters self-control and calmness, enhancing mental clarity. Taking a few moments to breathe deeply can help center yourself and reduce stress throughout the day.
